FK Architecture Celebrates Oak Park Senior Living Groundbreaking

FK Architecture is pleased to announce a groundbreaking ceremony for the FK-designed Oak Park Senior Living community on Thursday, April 24 at 3:30 P.M. ET. Affordable Housing developer National Community Renaissance (National CORE) and FK Architecture will be joined by Fort Myers community partners for the groundbreaking event.

Oak Park Senior Living, located at 3875 E. Michigan Ave., will offer 144 one- and two-bedroom units for residents aged 62 and over who are earning between 30 percent and 60 percent of the area’s median income. The 5-acre site will also host outdoor amenities, including a swimming pool, pickleball court, and a community garden where residents can tend their own crops. Indoor amenities will include a communal TV and game room, fitness center, and cybercafé. Computer training classes will be available for residents.

“Oak Park offers senior residents a distinguished living experience where they can appreciate a sense of home while enjoying some of the best modern amenities,” said Rajiv Ramakrishnan, associate at FK Architecture. “The residents will also enjoy a safe and comfortable environment for socializing, entertaining, and enjoying the great outdoors.”

Oak Park is scheduled to be completed in the summer of 2026.
