EquipmentShare, one of the fastest-growing integrated equipment rental and asset management companies in the United States, will join the Joliet Chamber of Commerce and other community members for a grand opening celebration at its new state-of-the-art Advanced Solutions™ rental facility located in Rockdale, Illinois.

A ribbon-cutting presentation will begin promptly at 11:45 a.m, followed by lunch and tours of the new facility. This announcement is associated with a more than $18 million investment into the community, which includes property costs, value of equipment and salaries (equivalent to one year) associated with the new jobs.

“This new branch allows us to better serve our customers in the greater Chicago area with the tools, technology and support they need to succeed,” said Jabbok Schlacks, CEO and co-founder of EquipmentShare. “We’re proud to be a steady partner for contractors — bringing Advanced Solutions and local service together to help build the future of construction by improving safety, security and productivity for all.”

The nearly 22,000-square-foot facility will serve as an Advanced Solutions distribution hub for the region, providing next-generation equipment to support jobsites and more.

The Rockdale location offers next-generation equipment solutions and a best-in-class rental experience thanks to its proprietary technology, T3™. This new 21,885-square-foot facility will serve as a hub for the region-supporting construction sites, major events, hospitals, municipalities and emergency response efforts with high-demand rental gear like power solutions, pumps, HVAC systems, chillers and more. The facility features 10 service bays, an equipment show room, parts department and a large training room. In total, EquipmentShare has four locations in Illinois.

“This is exciting news for our community and the many families who will benefit from these new tech-driven jobs,” says Jen Howard, President of the Joliet Region Chamber of Commerce & Industry. “We are proud to welcome such an innovative company that is helping build the future of construction—right here in Rockdale.”

EquipmentShare joins Joilet business community

Corie  Kornerup, GM of the Rockdale branch, says EquipmentShare embodies a People First mentality unlike any other I’ve encountered. “The commitment to our core values of integrity, humility, drive and intelligence start at the top and extend to our customers. I am so proud of how far my team has come and excited for all that lies ahead.”

Kornerup brings nine years of experience to the role. Building up and bettering the communities EquipmentShare serves is also part of the company’s mission and People First culture. At the grand opening, the team plans to present a $2,500 check to the Will County Habitat for Humanity (HFH) to support the organization’s Veterans Build Program, which provides assistance with home repairs, new construction and accessibility efforts.

“We’re grateful for EquipmentShare’s generous support and commitment to helping us build a stronger Will County community,” says Dayana Rodriguez, partner relations manager of Will County HFH.

The Rockdale branch should employ a team of 15. It has already hired five employees and expects to recruit for various roles in the future, including service technicians, drivers and sales representatives. The company offers unique People First focused benefits like tool reimbursement for service jobs,  boot allowance, monthly family dinner night for employees and 16 hours of annual volunteer time off.
